I think it can be widely agreed upon that there is nothing like the Internet.
There are, however, some similar ways for companies to market themselves as well as the products and/or services that they provide.
Other ways in which a company can market themselves include:
- television advertisements
- magazine, newspaper advertisements
- billboards
- fliers
- brochures
- phone calls, i.e. surveys, follow-up phone calls
- radio
- mail
- surveys distributed through the mail
- celebrity endorsements
Many of these alternative ways in which to market a company have the possibility to reach a huge audience, but the internet has the ability to reach the widest audience. It also allows an interactive component between the business and the consumer to exist. This is truly unique.
